Establish your chest size by measuring from behind around the fullest part of
your chest, then verify this size by trying on a coat of the same make and body
fitting that you will be ordering.

overarm is approximately 6” to 7” larger than the chest. If required
measure from behind around the fullest part over the arms.
Drop
This refers to the difference between your chest and pant waist. (On the “perfect”
figure this is usually 6” i.e. 42-36).
Coat Length
A tall coat is 1 S” longer than a regular.
A short coat is 1 S” shorter than a regular.
If a specific length is required, measure from the bottom edge of the felt undercollar,
straight down to the bottom of the coat.
Sleeve Length
1. Observe from an off the rack garment if the sleeves need to be shortened
or lengthened and if so by how much.

(Note: Measure inside seam from armhole to cuff with coat flat on table.)
