Derby Hat also known as The Bowler Hat was introduced in the year 1850's. The Bowler Hat, mainly known for its mass production and economic budget, because of that the derby hat was found almost in everyone's home reaching almost every class of society. Later, these hats became more fashionable and trendier, so that even women started loving to use these hats during special occasions like weddings and church services. This hat was used by a famous English comic actor, film maker and composer named "Charlie Chaplin". Another comedy double act named "Laurel and Hardy" also used Derby Men's hat.
It's a rounded, hard-topped hat with a small brim. Black is the remarkable color of this hat and this hat may have a matching band which may or may not have different colors around its crown or middle. It is made out of sheep's wool which provides firmness and sturdiness to the hat. In those days Derby hat was known for the art of manliness and these kinds of derby hats can also be used to gift someone special. This fashion has still been retained through to the current day, even though a hat is rarely worn in comparison to that time.
